Privacy Policy

The short version: we keep only what you give us, we show publicly only what you chose to show, we never sell it, and you can delete it yourself.

We don’t use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. The site stores a sign-in token in your browser so you stay signed in, and an unsent application draft so you don’t lose your work; both are cleared when you sign out.

3. What is public

If your profile is approved, the roster and your profile page show your name, region, years of experience, crafts, bio, membership seal, and your credits only at the disclosure level you chose (sealed credits show role and detail only, and only after our review). Your email address is never public. Pending and rejected profiles are visible only to you and our review team.

4. Who can see private information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone else except when the law requires it or to protect the safety of members.

5. How long we keep it

For as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, your sign-in, profile, credits, messages, blocks and reports are deleted immediately from the live database. Backups held by our database provider are overwritten on their normal schedule (typically within 30 days). We may keep reports about a conversation in anonymized form for safety records.

6. Your choices and rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used and shared, to delete it, to correct it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We don’t sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. You can make requests by email; we may need to verify that the request comes from you (for example by confirming from the email address on your account). You may also authorize an agent to make a request on your behalf.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our providers. Access rules are enforced inside the database, so each person can only read their own private data, and the public can only read approved, disclosure-filtered profiles. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your data we will notify you as the law requires.

8. Children

The platform is for professionals aged 18 and over. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

9. Changes

We’ll post updates here with a new date, and notify account holders by email about significant changes.
